Inauguration of Key Erection Works at Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project 31-Oct-2025

In a significant milestone towards the completion of the Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Project (1000 MW), Shri Ramesh Mukhiya, Managing Director, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL), inaugurated the EOT Crane erection works at the Valve House and the erection of the Steel Liner in the Vertical Pressure Shaft-II.
During his visit to Kishtwar, Shri Mukhiya reviewed the progress of works at the under-construction CVPPL projects — Pakal Dul (1000 MW), Kiru (624 MW), and Kwar (540 MW).
The event was attended by Shri Vishal Anand, Head of Project, Pakal Dul HE Project, senior officers of the Project, and representatives from M/s Voith, M/s PES, and M/s Afcons-JAL.
The Managing Director commended the dedicated efforts of the CVPPL team and all contractors involved in the execution of these prestigious hydroelectric projects and encouraged them to maintain the momentum for timely completion.
